Our History
Over the Rainbow Day Nurseries was set up in 1988 by 2 working teachers who struggled to find quality childcare for their own children. It became the first family-run nursery in Belfast.
Since then, Over the Rainbow has consistently provided an excellent standard of care and education for young children, enabling parents to go to work, happily reassured that their children are experiencing a fun-filled day.
Second Generation
Over the Rainbow is now in its second generation and is still run by qualified and experienced teachers.
Due to the longevity of the nursery, we are now welcoming children whose parents attended Over the Rainbow as children!
We are very proud of our two nurseries and of the warm, caring service we are able to provide due to the dedication and commitment of our wonderful staff team.
